DarkHorse Cane Corso, Paula & Andrew Zaro, along with the littles Conner and Olivia and our canine pack. We are originally from Chicago and Boston, but being in the military for the last 12 years has taken us all over the world. DarkHorse Cane Corso is the call sign used for Andrew's unit in Iraq during one of his deployments in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
As our time in the military comes to an end a new beginning arises. Due to all our travels over the last 8 years, it was very difficult to establish a kennel, name or an ongoing obedience training business. Our current kennel is small, and our dogs are first and foremost our pets, though we strive to compete in different levels of obedience, performance and working dog events, at the end of the day, they are our FAMILY.
We do not have an outdoor kennel system, nor do we ever plan to. All our dogs past and present live inside with us. More about Paula's training background can be viewed on her own page.
We are located 45 minutes south of Boston in Plymouth County off of Route 3. We welcome approved applicants by appointment only, as you are coming into our home to meet the dogs. We do not allow visitors when we have puppies on the ground until they are at least 4 weeks old as to eliminate the possibility/risk of illness, exposure to diseases and/or injury.
